KAINZ:
Half a century of
experience and Know-how
Founding and history of the company
After working as a buyer for the Sendlinger Motorenwerke corporation for more than 20 years, Adolf Kainz founded his company
in a small workshop in Baierbrunn on January 26, 1948. He started by making sheet metal panels for tractors.
The company moved to Geretsried in 1961. The factory then produced complete conveyor systems for the beverage industry and
for mail distribution as well as machines for the wood-working industry, special mechanical engineering units and oil fuel tanks.
Klaus Kainz, the son of the company founder, took over the management of the corporation in 1975. The corporation was able to become
a supplier of sheet metal parts, stamped parts and prototype parts for the automotive industry in the 1980s. The company had a workforce
of 20 employees at the time and has since grown to more than 50 people today.
